June 24th marked a great day in Salina, KS as the 8th annual Tech Edge by Nex-Tech 2021 wrapped up. Starting at 8:00 AM, attendees could check out the Innovation Zone, make choices on which of the 12 sessions on 4 tracks to attend, and get some breakfast before being welcomed by CEO and General Manager Jimmy Todd.
Keynote Steve Riat took the stage and took attendees on a seven-decade tour of technology spanning from way back to visions of the future, setting up milestones with a taste of music from the era.
Morning sessions ensued and guests visited booths in the Innovation Zone. Free dark web scans, portraits, and demos on fiber splicing and cloud phone were available along with experts available to talk in-depth about physical security, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, infrastructure, and managed IT.
Lunch was served and keynote Amanda Rohleder took the stage, sharing her personal journey of finding balance between humanity and technology while maintaining focus on building relationships based on authenticity.
Afternoon sessions continued, capped off with Prize-A-Palooza where everyone in attendance had a chance at winning something from the $10,000 Prize-A-Palooza prize table.
