 They say that if you don’t like the weather in Kansas, just wait a day. The weather can change quickly in Kansas and Nex-Tech understands the importance of up-to-date weather information for your area. We were notified that the provider of the channel Weather Central (channel 125 or 120 depending on your community) will be discontinuing the channel December 31, 2018. As fellow weather watchers, we wanted to share with you all the other good ways you can still receive your local weather.

Nex-Generation Round Up for Youth, Inc., Lenora, Kansas, has partnered with Young Americans Center for Financial Education in Denver, CO, to bring a financial literacy program to the following northwest and north central Kansas counties: Barton, Cheyenne, Cloud, Decatur, Ellis, Ellsworth, Gove, Graham, Jewell, Lincoln, Logan, Mitchell, Norton, Osborne, Ottawa, Phillips, Rawlins, Republic, Rooks, Rush, Russell, Saline, Sheridan, Sherman, Smith, Thomas, Trego, and Wallace. Young AmeriTowne^® of Kansas is a six-week, curriculum designed for 5th and 6th grades that teaches basic economics, banking, money management, government, communications, philanthropy, and employment. The culmination of the classroom experience is a field trip to Young AmeriTowne of Kansas, newly located in the former Lenora High School building, in Lenora.
